Please be aware that we are a NuTone Intercom and Chime repair shop.
We are not a retail space. We are not an electronics parts supplier. Any electronics parts in our possesion are for repair services only.
We currently only work on NuTone intercoms and chimes. We do not work on M&S products right now. We do not work on other consumer products (radios, microwaves, televisions, etc.).
We do not offer in-home repairs.
Since we only offer a remote repair service, visiting our location is by appointment only.
As of 30 March, 2016 we will no longer be shipping via FedEx due to add on charges.
Herein we will ship via USPS or UPS unless specifically asked otherwise. If you would like to ship via FedEx please include a return shipping label.
When shipping your unit to us, please make sure to wrap your intercom or chime in stretch wrap and bubble wrap, making sure that the corners are protected, and place in a cardboard box filled with packing peanuts or bubble wrap.
We strongly suggest insuring your intercom or chime for its full value. Shipping prices to and from us will differ substantially if you do not as we always insure our packages unless explicitly asked not to.
Keep in mind that the enclosures are brittle and will break if not packed properly. Refrain from using styrofoam unless it encapsulates your intercom and completely prevents movement in transit.
We are not responsible for any damage sustained during shipping. If your intercom or chime is damaged in shipping, we strongly suggest making an insurance claim with your shipping provider.
This is an example of how not to pack your intercom for sending to us.
It is a miracle it got to us undamaged. Notice how the sides of the faceplate are tight up against the sides of the box.
A blow to either of these sides would do severe damage to the contents.
Always wrap the unit in bubble wrap and then find a box that can handle the larger size without pressing hard against the unit.
Please include your intercom chime card if your unit has one (image 1). Bear in mind that not all chime cards come with a song selector button.
If you are sending an IM-4006 please be sure to send the display transformer (image 2) with it as it determines whether or not the display will work.
